Damion Bragdon with a 40-year broadcasting career puts him among the legends of rock and roll deejays in America. In a variety of markets, but most notably in Southern California and Hawaii, his passion, knowledge, and energy catapulted him into the big leagues as he became one of the most listened to radio hosts in California, an early mecca for rock and roll, with homegrown rock artists like Guns  &Roses, Jim Morrison, John Fogerty, and Jerry Garcia.

Damion's shows were on the cutting edge of the FM radio industry. He worked with top players in the FM radio market including stints at KLOS-FM, KMET-FM, and Classic Rock KLSX-FM in Los Angeles, where he was the top-rated afternoon drive personality. During his tenure at KLOS-FM he partnered with broadcasting icon, Jim Ladd, and not surprisingly, the station was ranked #1 as Billboard magazine Station of the Year.

He was also featured at stations KPRI-FM and KGB-FM, in San Diego, and KKCY-FM in San Francisco.  In Maui he hosted the highly-rated morning show on rock station KMVI-FM and was also the program director for both their AM and FM stations.

Besides spinning the best classic rock n roll and country rock, Damion interviewed hundreds of celebrities and notables and introduced comedy bits into his shows, interspersed with hard-driving rock music.

He has fond memories of serving as press tour manager for Alice Cooper's 1980 United States and Canadian tours, and conducting four Led Zeppelin interviews and concerts in the early 70's

In addition to his experience as a disc jockey, Damion does voiceover work and has appeared in film, television, video, and syndicated broadcasts.  As an invited member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, fans can access the Damion Bragdon Collection in the online archives at catalog.rockhall.com which provides invaluable insight into his life and career as a disc jockey and voiceover artist, particularly during the 1970s through 2000.

During his career, Damion's community and charity work included volunteer media relations for the medical profession where he produced the Medical Minute, aired on Maui radio stations, and media liaison, 1st Lieutenant, and Public Affairs Officer for Maui Civil Air Patrol for Air Force and Civil Defense assignments.

As a cancer survivor, Damion, the Rock and Roll Cowboy is enjoying the good life, with his wife, Joy, in Palm Springs, California.
